Otis and I were heading back inside after a walk. This little guy jumped out of the bushes and Otis gave chase. In his fright, the bunny did a nose dive into the window well. He hopped his little bunny heart out but he couldn’t jump high enough. I pulled Otis back inside and returned to see if I could help Thumper escape.

I tried grabbing him but he was incredibly fast and impossible to catch. I tried lifting him out with a cane handle but he would get scared and fall off.

Otis watched innocently through the window. 

Finally I rummaged through the garage and found a giant rake. I stuck it down into the well and made a little ramp. Thumper hopped out of the hole and all is well.

Bunny Hat!

You’re not going to believe this, but there is a Waffles the Cat. And he is just as cute as Waffles the Corgi.
